What is Write Summer?
Write Summer is a fun-filled online summer camp for young writers. Brought to you by The Write Practice, an award-winning community for writers, we bring together students with professional writers to help them develop a passion and aptitude for writing.
During your child's Write Summer Camp experience, they’ll get to:
- Learn from professional writers
- Find and develop ideas for writing
- Write their own story, ready to share by the end of camp
- Practice revising their own work, using feedback
- Build their creative muscles and writing confidence
Can adults register?
Write Summer is a children's only camp. Adults are not allowed to register for camp. The camp is set up into two groups to combine the right blend of writing instruction, encouraging feedback, and lots of fun for kids. The first group is for ages 7-9. The second group is for ages 10-14.
How does Write Summer work?
Parents register their child and must provide proof they are the child's parent. These camps are 100% online through Zoom, and safety for children is our #1 priority.
